Just like VH1, I like to recognize those having the Best Week Ever. Except when we hand out a best week ever award, it actually means that they did something worthwhile. And Marcelo Balboa's favorite guy named Davis would be the blazing fast US striker Charlie Davies. Regardless if he's being identified as Davis or Davies, Charlie's stock continues to rise at the same speed that he blazes down the field. Because they say you gotta see it to believe it, here you go:

Don't look now but this summer “Stanky Leg” Davies has emerged as the most dangerous striker on team USA this summer and quite a promising international baller. His two goals as a second half substitute for Sochaux in France and his ability to deliver in Mexico City in the biggest game of his life have distinguished him as having the Best Week Ever.
