EPL Round 9 Predictions

Here we go. A day late due to Biggy, but here they are. We realize many of you won't get your picks in on time, but feel free to throw them up here, regardless of how much we suck at posting our content in a timely fashion. What's your match of the week?
Biggy:
After what has to have been the most rollercoaster week to be a US fan in the history of the world, we return to your regularly scheduled english programming. Things like "onion bag" and "rate him as a player" will enter my consciousness and return me to a state of EPL infatuation. After all, the Brits may have pie and driving wrong, but they do football right. Certainly this weekend gives to some exciting matchups that may not be able to equal the intensity of the world cup qualifiers but will likely be as enjoyable. Without further ado, and I do hope I beat Chamo this week, I have a special shoutout if I pull this off.
Aston Villa 1:1 Chelsea Villa is the real deal. Chelsea is the deal. Easily the match I am most looking forward to, as two extremely exciting teams and talented midfields tangle. Goals are hard to come by for each side, and a draw gives each a deserved point. The true appearance of Villa's midfield class will give Chelsea a scare, but they bag a late equalizer to disappoint the home fans.
Arsenal 4:0 Birmingham Speaking of midfield brilliance, Arsenal's had been clicking on all cylinders before the break, but will time apart hurt this side that has been seemingly moving, thinking, and playing as one? Not against Birmingham it will not. No one wants to play the Gunners right now and for good reason. RVP's impressive form continues as he bags a brace, and Arshavin and Fab get one too!
Everton 2:1 Wolves Everton plays well at home, which is good because playing well has eluded them often this season. Wolves looked to be an impressive newcomer, however they have not found their stride and Goodison Park is not somewhere they are going to start. Tim Howard will yell at his defense like he did the US defense Wednesday night, but Saha and Pineaar right the ship and ship three points to the boys in blue.
Man United 2:0 Bolton The most intrigue in this game will be what reffing flaw will Sir Alex pick on next? Poor sock choice? Perhaps lack of matching tan lines? Inappropriate hand motion for showing of yellow cards? United will win this game ugly. I will not be convinced of their greatness. New day, same story.
Portsmouth 0:3 Tottenham Last time around, Portsmouth revealed that they actually are still a team in the EPL! And they have a winning streak! This week Tottenham reminds everyone that Portsmouth still sucks! Tune in again next week for "Pitiful Portsmouth: This year's comedy smash hit!"
Stoke City 1:2 West Ham West Ham appears to be good. Their results do not reflect this appearance. A break however, is just what they need, and they take care of business behind Carlton Cole's brace that says "What up, national team"
Sunderland 2:1 Liverpool Torres>Bent, but Bent>no Torres. Liverpool minus Torres and gerrard has the attacking punch of Chamo in front of goal, and they cant take down Super Sunderland.
Blackburn 1:1 Burnley A match filled with burning desire if you will, neither team will emerge to burn the opposition away. Okay, that is way too many bad burns. One point for each in a match that won't burn the house down.
Wigan 1:3 Man City Oh there they go again, Man City's offense is both potent and expensive. Just like many of the finer things in life. Such as finishing, which City does to Wigan with ease.
Fulham 2:1 Hull City Fancy a win at the Cottage? Certainly 'Ull City does, but their chances will be knocked off by a performance by a Fulham side who finally have figured out that the season started. Two months ago.
Chamo:
Aston Villa 0:1 Chelsea Villa are a quality side that has been somewhat underperforming, meanwhile Chelsea is coming back to full strength as Joe Cole, Zhirkov and Alex begin to return from injuries. Despite the scoreline it is an incredibly riveting match, kept in check only by amazing goalkeeping from both ends.
Arsenal 3:1 Birmingham Arsenal seems to produce in waves, they started strong, stumbled with some unfortunate results and are beginning to pick up again. Their main issue is keeping the ball out of their own net, because winning 6-2 is all good and fine, but on the days their finising is off form, it begins to haunt them. Today their finishing is not off.
Everton 1:1 Wolves Everton are beginning to find their legs again after a slow start, but Wolves show up to spoil the party with a dramatic late equaliser from none other than Ebanks-Blake. Questions must be asked about Everton, and possibly it is time to see young Anton Peterlin. Kidding, though our favorite Toffee just started in the reserves and got the full 90 against Man Utd.
Manchester United 2:0 Bolton I haven't heard if Rooney is healthy for this one, but Berbatov seems to be finding his scoring boots again after a first half hat-trick on Wednesday. Wings continue to be an issue for United, (if you don't count Rio's current form), but Valencia finally shows signs of life down the right.
Portsmouth 1:5 Tottenham Tottenham take advantage of all of Portsmouth's current issues (but who isn't plesased to hear they have cleared up their financial woes?) and have a field day at Fratton Park. Defoe twice, Crouch, Keane, and Kranjcar add to this one, an incredible away win.
Stoke City 0:1 West Ham I need Zola to get some wins, and while Stoke have stuttered along giving teams issues, they simply can't find a way into Robert Green's goal and lose to an early strike from Noble.
Sunderland 2:1 Liverpool With no Torres or Gerrard, Liverpool will struggle to find their attacking legs against the Black Cats that almost stole three points at Old Trafford. Bent is in form, and well rested considering Capello didn't even select him for this past international week. Bent at the double as Sunderland cruise, leaving even more speculation about Rafa, especially if he continues to start Lucas.
Blackburn 1:0 Burnley Blackburn need to lift themselves out further away from the relegation zone and what better way to do it than against local rivals Burnley in the first top-flight match up between the squads in 47 years? Needing to stamp their authority, Blackburn comes out strong, but Burnley doesn't crumble till after the 60th.
Wigan 1:2 Manchester City Wigan are a difficult team, even more so at home (as Chelsea found out), but Man City are still on their quest to prove themselves. Since World Cup football is not in the cards for Adebayor he can now focus all his efforts on City and their quest for silverware, as he bags one and Barry adds from the spot.
Fulham 0:0 Hull City For some reason I rarely select a nil-nil scoreline, perhaps because it implies a boring game and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Here, however, I don't see either team scoring, though I predict Fulham will see the better opportunities at the Cottage.
