The beauty and sadness in this is that this is what the European game has going for it. American youngsters don't get this dynamic coaching at a young age, and thus development is slowed by this lack of excellence from the coaching side. When the MLS academies become larger and more established, then the American game will start to produce young players who can play at this level in larger quantities.
